Korea-China Ministers' Meeting to be Held

Korea's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Lee Joung-binn will be visiting China for 4 days from April 27 for a conference with China's Foreign Minister Tang Jiaxuan.

At this conference, various matters will be discussed, including China's participation in the successful holding of the South-North Summit meeting, an early settlement of the fisheries agreement, the problems with North Korean defectors in China, the safty of Koreans in China, and the relationship between Korea and Taiwan.

Business matters will also be discussed with the participation of Korean companies in the business of Code Division Multiple Access(CDMA) for digital portable phones in China and the construction of Express railways and nuclear power plants to be covered.
