Service Advises on Market Risks
The government will begin offering an advisory service in July to help private companies manage foreign exchange risks, an agency associated with the Finance Ministry announced Sunday.The Korea Center for International Finance, founded by the ministry and the Bank of Korea in 1999, will provide firms with basic information on international financial markets. It will also help them manage exchanges and transactions of financial products and assets and liabilities in foreign currencies and establish hedging strategies to manage rate risks.
