Chinese Navy ship is to visit Incheon
Chinese Navy vessels will make their maiden call to a South Korean port on Wednesday, South Korea's National Defense Ministry said Friday.China will send two 2,393-ton frigates to the Korean port of Incheon for a four-day docking. Aboard the two ships, each 112 meters long, will be 438 crew members in all.
The port call is a part of military exchanges between the two countries, and follows a South Korean Navy ship's visit to Shanghai last year.
During their docking in Incheon, the Chinese Navy ships will be open to public; the crew will attend friendly sports matches with South Korean soldiers.
Seoul and Beijing celebrate the 10th anniversary of their diplomatic relations this year.
