KT meeting to go live on Web
KT Corp. said yesterday that stockholders and customers around the globe would be able to watch the firm’s general shareholders’ meeting on Friday over the Internet at the company’s Web site, www.kt.co.kr. A company official said shareholders who could not attend the meeting at the company’s headquarters in Bundang, just southeast of Seoul, would be able to follow every detail of the meeting with the Web feed. Simultaneous interpretation of the proceedings will be available in English. Lee Yong-kyung, KT’s chief executive, said, “The Internet relay will give our shareholders the information they want fromt he meeting in a more interesting way.”
