Haansoft reins change hands
Baek Jong-heon, chairman of Prime Sports Ltd., has become the largest shareholder of Haansoft Co., the company said yesterday. Mr. Baek expanded his stake to 7.31 percent by purchasing shares on the Kosdaq market. The former largest shareholder was Seoul Systems Co., which presently holds a 3-percent stake. “Mr. Baek will resolve the recent battle over managerial control,” an aid said, adding he would call a special shareholders’ meeting to change the board of executives as soon as the general shareholders’ meeting on Friday ended. The aid said Mr. Baek would take into account the opinions of Haansoft’s former president, Kim Geun, and its current president, Paul Rhiu, who were managerial rivals.
