CULTURAL EMISSARIES WANTED

October: Foreigners of all nationalities who are eager to present a taste of their home culture to Korean public school children are needed. They serve a vital role in Unesco-Korea’s cross-cultural exchange program. Volunteers can participate as many times as they like, even just once. Presentations may include cooking, acting or lecture. A Korean interpreter is provided. Applications are accepted via Internet.

ANDRE KIM FUNDRAISER

Today: The famous designer Andre Kim is donating 600 outfits to raise money for Unicef. From everyday wear to suits, dresses and evening gowns, clothes of this renowned designer will be sold from 100,000 won ($87) on up. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
