KT Freetel names new chief executive
KT Freetel Co., Korea’s second-largest mobile-phone operator, promoted Cho Young-chu to chief executive, replacing Nam Joong-soo, who is leaving to become the head of the company’s parent. Mr. Cho, 49, who was senior executive vice president at KT Freetel, started his new position yesterday, the company said in a statement. He will serve as co-chief executive until Mr. Nam, 49, moves to KT Corp., the nation’s largest telecommunications company, in August.
