June 29: Tao-Yuen, the Chinese Restaurant at the Seoul Plaza Hotel, is promoting a special dinner of traditional Chinese cuisine with wine at 6:30 p.m. The dishes are “Buddha jumps over the wall” and steamed shark’s fin, sea cucumber and abalone, lobster and king crab. The price is 230,000 won ($248) per person, including tax and service charge.

Renaissance Seoul Hotel
To August 19: Kabin, the Chinese restaurant at Renaissance Seoul, presents a Chinese cold noodle promotion.The set menu includes Chinese cold noodles with shark’s fin soup, chili sauce king crab and sauteed pine tree mushroom with beef. The set menus are 35,000 won and 45,000 won. The cold noodle is 16,000 won excluding tax and service charge.

To August 31: Momoyama, the Japanese Restaurant at Lotte Hotel Seoul, is offering eel and sea bass. The dishes are broiled eel sushi and buckwheat noodles, sea bass and vegetables in a hot pot. The croaker course is seven vegetables in a hot pot. The price range is from 50,000 won to 130,000 won excluding VAT.
