Jeju Seafood Festival at Renaissance Seoul

To Nov. 30: The Lotte Hotel Jeju offers a “Choice Dinner Package” to Korean citizens and foreign residents (resident card holders only). This package includes a one-night stay at Lotte Hotel Jeju, breakfast for two, and a choice of dinners at one of the hotel’s restaurants. The garden buffet offers a variety of food with a Las Vegas-style volcano fountain show. The Western restaurant Peninsula offers an array of course dinners. The Japanese restaurant Momoyama will present set menus prepared with seafood from the waters of Jeju Island. The Korean restaurant Mugunghwa offers a selection of traditional dishes characteristic of the island. The prices range from 300,000 won ($327) to 360,000 won according to weekday or weekend. Prices include tax and service charges.

Renaissance Seoul Hotel
Nov. 5 to Dec. 31: Sabiru, the Korean restaurant at Renaissance Seoul, features the “Jeju Seafood Festival.” Sabiru will offer seafood from Jeju, including mini abalone and Jeju hair tail fish. Menus are available for lunch and dinner.

Nov. 1 to 30: The Sky Lounge at COEX InterContinental Seoul will present "The Purity that is New Zealand." Offered as a main dish is green lip mussel and monkfish fritters, pea sauce and ginger foam, peppered New Zealand beef carpaccio, sweet soy and baked goat cheese. Also available are New Zealand beef fillet, tomato mash, oyster mushrooms and horopito butter, half-grilled lobster, pan-flashed foie gras, roasted Australian wagyu beef tenderloin steak and grilled abalone with lemon juice. Prices range from 30,000 won to 110,000 won. Tax and service charges not included.

Novotel Ambassador Gangam
To Dec 31: The bistro at Novotel Ambassador Gangnam features the taste of Australian steak combined with wine. The special features include main dishes such as grilled Australian rib eye steak, grilled Australian sirloin steak, grilled tenderloin and a king prawn. These are available as jumbo choices for those with a big appetite.
A selection of sauces (mushroom, pepper, red wine or lemon butter) are served with main dishes.
Salad choices include salad of rocket with sliced mushrooms, baked pumpkin and mushrooms with garlic clove, onion, spinach and tomato quiche and other seasonal salads with dressings. The steak menu includes draft beer and Australian wine. The price is 47,000 won excluding tax.
