Feb. 18 to 22: Peninsula, the Italian restaurant at Lotte Seoul, will hold a “Venice Carnival Festival,” featuring Venetian food and a carnival costume party. The promotion features lunch and dinner sets priced at 43,000 won ($45) and 70,000 won. Prices do not include VAT and service charge. The carnival costume party is at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 22. The party opens with a buffet and unlimited wine followed by a D.J. performance, dancing, the costume party and a mime show. Tickets are 50,000 won.

Ongoing: The Grand Hyatt Seoul’s all day dining restaurant, the Terrace, has reopened after undergoing a partial renovation.
Located off the main lobby, the Terrace offers a range of Eastern and Western dishes such as sandwiches, pastas and meats along with its breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets.
A new dessert buffet station with more than 25 desserts has been introduced, along with four new private dining rooms and a wider range of menu selections.
Adult prices range from 28,500 won to 49,000 won. Children’s prices are 18,500 won to 27,000 won.

Feb. 20 to 24: Table 34, located on the 34th floor of the Grand InterContinental Seoul, will feature a promotion of foie gras. For this promotion, the menu consists of foie gras prepared in 10 different styles, from in a terrine to simply pan flashed. The homemade foie gras terrine, caramelized apple chutney and toasted mique bread are highlights of the promotion. The foie gras ranges from 18,000 won to 43,000 won and the set menu ranges from 55,000 won to 150,000 won. Prices do not include tax and service charge.

Millennium Seoul Hilton
Feb. 29: The Millennium Seoul Hilton’s Mediterranean restaurant, Cilantro, will hold a special giveaway.
Each Cilantro guest will receive a chance to win one of five prizes from Mikimoto, a company world famous for its cultured pearls.
Customers can choose from seafood offerings that include oysters and crustaceans.
They also can try their luck at winning one of these pearls from the ocean. Prizes will include a wristwatch, table clocks, picture frames and salt and pepper shakers.
The lunch buffet is priced at 40,000 won and the dinner at 44,000 won. Prices do not include tax or service charge.
