Cantonese cuisine at the Westin Chosun

On Feb. 29: Lotte Hotel Seoul’s Momoyama Japanese restaurant will invite two sake makers from Japan for a night of sake dinner. Four kinds of sake will be served with a kaiseki course. An array of sashimi will be accompanied with Shirataki's Jozen Mizuno Gotoshi Daiginjo, which is brewed with water from snow in Niigata. This event starts at 7 p.m. and tickets cost 380,000 won ($402) per person, including VAT and a service charge. Reservations are required as seating is limited to 40 guests.

Westin Chosun Seoul
To Feb. 29: The Westin Chosun’s top-floor Chinese restaurant Ho Kyung Jeon is offering Cantonese cuisine with two new chefs.
This promotion is featured in both a la carte and two different set menus. The main menu include sauteed duck breast with cashew nuts and hot red pepper sauce, live lobster with ginger soy sauce and braised pork rib with garlic sauce.
A wide selection of dim sum is also available.
Including an array of seven different courses, the set menu is presented in two different options at either 95,000 won and 160,000 won.
The price does not include VAT or a service charge.

Hyatt Regency Incheon
Tomorrow: The Hyatt Regency Incheon is putting on a “Kids’ Table Manners Class.” The Hyatt’s F&B manager, who has an international cultural and educational background, will conduct the class. Children will learn basic table manners such as table settings, how to use the utensils and how to navigate the various types of table settings.
Included in the package is a four-course menu.
The class, with the four-course menu, is available at 60,000 won per person, not including VAT.

Millennium Seoul Hilton
Friday: The Millennium Seoul Hilton’s Italian trattoria, Il Ponte, is hosting the 24th Cena dei Reali, an Italian dining extravaganza that consists of a six-course meal paired with a selection of wines. The meal includes marinated tiger prawns with vegetables served in an avocado shell, cream of chick pea garnished with anchovy bruschetta and pecorino cheese, homemade agnolotti stuffed with duck, and a roasted rack of lamb with porcini mushrooms and truffle oil sauce and Tuscany red wine. For dessert, zabaglione will be served with macadamia ice cream.
The evening starts off with a cocktail reception at 7 p.m., followed by the dinner. The cost is 128,000 won per person.
