Employees at the Korea Exchange smile at a stock monitor yesterday as the main Kospi rose 22.8 points, or 1.3 percent, to end at 1,848.27, the highest since Jan. 4. The measure gained 1.3 percent this week. The Korean won also ended at 1,009.6 won against the greenback, down 7 won from Wednesday’s close.
