By defeating the Wyverns 4-3 on Sunday, the Eagles jumped from fourth to second in the standings, overtaking the Wyverns and the LG Twins to reclaim the spot.
The Eagles now have a 0.5 game lead ahead of the Wyverns and are 6.5 games behind the Doosan Bears, the leader in the KBO.
