[NOODLE] People line up for this famed kalguksu
Originally opened in 1966, Myeongdong Kyoja’s two branches were famous for years for the queues of people waiting to get in, many of them Japanese tourists. This year, it opened a third branch in Itaewon. The star of the show is kalguksu in a chicken broth with spiced meat peppered on top and four soft dumplings. It also offers bibimguksu, kongguksu and mandu (dumplings) and its kimchi is notoriously sharp.
