Agency to work with Chinese firm

Entertainment agency Huayi Brothers Korea announced on Friday that it has signed a partnership with China’s largest online movie ticket service, Maoyan Weiying.

“We will be organizing K-pop singers’ concerts and fan meetings that will be held in China over the next two years together,” Huayi Brothers Korea said. “[We will also be] analyzing Chinese fans’ different tastes [of K-pop singers and music] and the demands [of concerts, etcetera.]”

Huayi Brothers Korea is a management agency that produces music, film and drama-related contents. It is home to popular actors like Kim Yun-seok, Yoo Hae-jin, Lee Si-young and Joo Won.

Maoyan Weiying is owned by Chinese film company Tianjin Maoyan Culture Media and runs a number of online entertainment ticketing services.
