Hyundai Motor introduces new versions of Ioniq
Hyundai Motor launched the refreshed versions of its Ioniq gasoline hybrid and plug-in hybrid models in the domestic market to boost sales, the company said Friday.Hyundai has added safety features, such as lane following, highway driving and frontal collision assist features, as well as the lane departure warning system, to the Ioniq’s basic trim models, the carmaker said in a statement.
The car also received upgraded styling, both externally and internally. Korea’s largest carmaker gave the car a new grille, head and, internally, the vehicle has a larger center console display.
The Ioniq gasoline hybrid is priced at 22 million won to 27 million won ($19,600-$24,000) and the Ioniq plug-in hybrid carries a price tag of 31 million won to 34 million won. Ioniq gasoline hybrid, plug-in hybrid and all-electric models are available in domestic and overseas markets, including the United States and Europe.
