For 31 years, this hole-in-the-wall has been dishing out thick, hand-cut noodles in a clam-based soup with dried seaweed sprinkled on top. It takes a while for the flavors to meld and the richness to register - and then the bliss sets in. It’s one of those places where middle-aged men mop their whole faces with handkerchiefs in satisfaction at the end of the meal.
