Shares of Unlisted Venture Businesses to be Traded

A market will open in which shares of venture firms, unlisted on both the Korea Stock Exchange or KOSDAQ, can be traded.
The Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industries (KCCI) runs the Seoul Angel Group, a gathering of venture business investors. On May 13, it announced it decided to open a trading market inside the KCCI building within the second half of this year.
If the market opens, direct trading between members of the Angel Group and investors seeking to buy shares of venture businesses can be conducted.
Investors can obtain high returns on money invested into a successful venture business before it is listed.
KCCI decided to launch and operate an Internet homepage at ( http://www.kcci.or.kr) to offer investment information from early July.
The trading of shares is limited only between certain venture businesses and Angel Group investors, but it will be extended to other venture businesses.
