8 New Year's Trains Will Run to Sunrise

Eight passenger trains will run to tourist sites on the East Coast and South Coast on Dec. 30 and 31 to allow passengers to greet the first sunrise of the year 2001.

The trains will depart from Seoul Station and Chongnyangni Station late at night on both dates and return the next day.

If passengers take "the Memory-Making Trains," new in operation this year, they will get to enjoy a New Year's Eve concert and Hof Festival at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts, various events in the trains and a sunrise trip as a package.

Tickets will go on sale at 9 a.m. Friday at train stations or travel agencies throughout the country and Sejong Center for the Performing Arts.
