"Modern people pursue tastes, fashions and fun through food. They enjoy delicious food in a cool atmosphere with amusing conversation or events. Our channel will become an infortainment (information+entertainment) focused channel."

A channel that deals with only cooking for 18 hours a day will go on the air June 1. Starting at 8:00 a.m., Channel F (www.chf.co.kr) will provide viewers with a variety of cooking programs under the slogan 'Enjoyable food, delicious TV.'

The channel covers all kinds of cooking-related information from homemade food to hotel recipes to news about markets, health, diet and dining out. The channel will broadcast a total of 16 shows including 6 daily programs, 5 weekend programs and 5 foreign cooking programs. The foreign programs will be provided by the American cable channel The Food Network. Channel F is also working on a co-production with a Japanese satellite broadcasting company to provide Japanese cooking programs.
