KOTRA to Promote Movies and AnimationThe Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) announced on August 27 that it has decided to support exports of cultural products such as films and animation.
The state-run agency will establish a cyber market on its 'KOBO' site on which a list of domestic cultural products will be displayed.
Any company which produces cultural items or events, including films, videos, advertisements, games, design products and performances, can apply for registration at the Internet shop.
KOTRA plans to publicize and market its activities at 101 overseas trade halls.
