Korean Maestro Chung Myung-whun to Return to Paris

The Orchestra National de France (ONF) has reportedly decided to appoint Korean maestro Chung Myung-whun as its director and permanent conductor.
Mr. Chung will reportedly sign a contract with the ONF, on condition that the orchestra accepts Chung's reforms, such as a strengthened management and a new line-up.
The Korean conductor will return to the Paris stage from 2001, as the successor of the current ONF conductor Charles E Dutoit, and five years after he resigned as director of the Opera de la Bastille.
