Seo Tai-ji Finally To Come Back

After 4 years and 7 months without a new album, Seo Tai-ji, the most popular Korean pop singer, whose band broke up in January of 1996, will release a new album in September sure to please his longsuffering fans. Seo Tai-ji disclosed his plans to the public by posting a note on his homepages seokihei.alpha.co.kr and Tai-ji-zone (www.taijizone.com) as well as at many of his fan clubs in several popular Korean BBSs.

"Hello, This is Tai-ji", started with this short salutation, Seo disclosed, "I decided to finish living in the U.S. and to resume my life as a musician in Korea." He added, " After my first single album, 'Take One', released in May, 1998, I had been absorbed in creating new music. Fortunately, I thought that I had made good songs, I finally arrived at the decision to resume my life as a musician in Korea." Seo described the songs on his new album as, quote, "Just unusual songs with my utmost efforts."

In addition, he said that, "I already had finished mixing and mastering procedures on my new songs, I will do my best to appear on as many TV programs as possible and to have concerts", said Seo. All the sites on which Seo's narrative was posted, temporarily suspended their services, due to excessive connections. Some of them opened an extra bulletin board for the urgent situation. Seo ended his narrative with, "I will wait….. September"

According to this decision, when to hold his concert and in which music company he will be engaged in, are on great concerns. It was known that Seo received $ 2.7 million from Samsung Music to publish his first single album with them.

Seo Tai-ji made his first debut with Yang Hyun-seok and Lee Joo-no in 1992 with his first millennium hit song, ' I Know' . Until they disbanded in 1996, He had released 4 albums with many hit songs such as ' I Know', ' Hayeoga', ' Dreaming balhye' and ' Classroom I-d-e-a' , recorded total 5.5 million amount of album sales.
