Seoul National University Sixth among Business Schools in Asia

According to the current issue of Asiaweek, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) has the best reputation among business schools in Asia, while the University of Melbourne led business schools in terms of curriculum.

The Seoul National University (SNU) MBA program ranked sixth and the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) was 18th, in reputation. In curriculum, KAIST and SNU were 7th and 20th, respectively.

The Hong Kong-based weekly magazine released their findings, the first of its kind in Asia, in their May 5 issue.

Asiaweek said that IIM, the best business school in Asia, scored a mere 3.74 points out of a possible 5 and that only nine schools scored over 3 points. The results highlight the need for improvements in Asia's MBA programs.
