Seoul Cartoon Festival in August
The Seoul International Cartoon Festival(SICAF), a combined cartoon and animation event, will be held in the Seoul COEX exhibition center on August 13.SICAF had a press conference on May 19 and proclaimed, 'The 4th SICAF's slogan is 'Challenge for the New Millennium' and the event is from August 13 to 20.'
The event invites lots of cartoonists and publishers, animation makers and game companies and so far 40 countries' representatives showed interest in joining the event.
The 650,000 dollar exhibition, will highlight animation showing, character exhibition, seminar and student festival events.
North Korea has also been invited to participate but has not given a definite answer yet.
