Unification celebrated in Seoul
Celebrations for the “16th Anniversary of German Unity,” were held in Millennium Seoul Hilton, in Jung-gu, central Seoul. The German ambassador to Korea, Dr. Norbert Baas (right) and his wife posed last Wednesday during the unification celebrations in the hotel. After the Berlin Wall was dismantled in November, 1989, the former German Democratic Republic, East Germany, and the Federal Republic of Germany were reunited as one state on Oct.3, 1990.by Cho Jae-eun
