Container trucks are parked at a standstill on June 12 in Gwangyang Port, South Jeolla Province, as independent truckers planned a general strike as of June 13. The independent truckers’ strike has virtually paralyzed the nation’s cargo transport system, forcing the volume of container shipments to plunge to only 21 percent of normal as of June 16. [YONHAP]

화물연대 소속 트럭 운전자들이 6월13일부터 총파업을 계획하면서 컨테이너 트럭들을 전남 광양항에 6월12일 운행하지 않고 주차시켜 놓았다. 화물연대의 파업은 나라 전체의 화물운송 시스템을 사실상 마비시켜 컨테이너 반출입량이 6월16일 현재 평소의 21% 수준으로 급락했다. [연합]
