At the National Cemetery in Daejeon on April 13, a military honor guard ushers in the remains of six patriots who died overseas fighting for Korea’s independence during Japanese colonial rule.

The ceremony marked the 90th anniversary of the founding of the provisional government, which worked from Shanghai, China, to liberate Korea from Japan. By Oh Jong-tae
