Some 2,500 volunteer workers engage in a kimchi-making event for the winter season on a field of the former Sudo Girls’High School in Yongsan, central Seoul, on Nov. 9. The event was expected to make about 50,000 kimchi cabbage heads to be placed in 7,000 boxes. The kimchi will be delivered to underprivileged households as well as facilities for the disabled. 2천5백여 명의 자원봉사자들이 11월9일 서울 옛 수도 여고 터에서 겨울맞이 김장 담그기 행사에 참여하고 있다. 이 행사에서 5만 여 포기 배추가 7천 여 박스의 김치로 만들어질 예정이다. 이 김장 김치는 장애인들과 불 우이웃들에게 무료로 나눠질 것이다. 최승식 기자
