‘Lost’ actress ties the knot

Top Korean actress Kim Yun-jin, 37, best known in Hollywood for her role in the U.S. TV series “Lost,” tied the knot with the head of her entertainment company yesterday, according to a press release.

Kim has been in a relationship with the groom, Park Jeong-hyuk, 36, since 2002 when they first met as actress and manager.

According to the bride, Park is a “humorous and caring” person who supported her “through happy and difficult times alike.”

Park established an independent entertainment company last year and is currently engaged in film production. The ceremony will be held on a private beach in Hawaii, according to Kim’s wishes.

“I want to begin this new stage of my life in Hawaii, where my relationship began,” she was quoted as saying by her agency.

The newlyweds will embark on their honeymoon when Kim is done shooting the sixth season of Lost in Hawaii. With two homes in Seoul and LA, it appears the actress will split her time between the two cities as she continues her acting career.

This is the eighth year that the couple has been working together. In 2003, Kim signed a contract with William Morris Endeavor Entertainment, a major agency in the United States.

Kim recently starred in the Korean film “Harmony.”
