AMCHAM - SMALL & MEDIUM ENTERPRISES COMMITTEE MEETING

Tomorrow: The American Chamber of Commerce in Korea is holding a committee meeting focusing on critical law issues and recommendations for small business operations managers in Korea, inviting speakers Sean Hayes, team leader and attorney in the international practice group of J&S Law firm, and Patrick Monaghan, an attorney at Kim &Chang.

The meeting will focus on some difficult issues in labor law and the impact of the newly passed Fair Subcontracting Act on small enterprises. Registration is required.

The fee is 45,000 won ($40) for members and 55,000 won for nonmembers. Buffet is included in the prices.

The meeting will be held at the Novotel Ambassador Gangnam’s Provence Hall from 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. Gangnam Station, line No. 2, exit No. 7; or Sinsa Station, line No. 3, exit No. 4; or Nonhyun Station, line No. 7, exit No. 3.

BCCK - MOUNT SEORAK TRIP

Weekend: The British Chamber of Commerce in Korea is hosting a Mount Seorak trip on Saturday and Sunday. Those who have an interest in joining the trip should make a reservation request by today to administrator@bcck.or.kr. Payment should be made to BCCK via Kookmin Bank account number 813-01-0229-248. Reservations will be confirmed upon payment. The fee is 150,000 won for members and 170,000 won for nonmembers (two people per room).

The venue will be the Kensington Hotel in Mount Seorak National Park. The departure will be from the Grand Hyatt Hotel at 7:20 a.m.
