Trade Minister Kim Jong-hoon and U.S. Trade Representative Ron Kirk before minister-level talks on changes to the Korea-U.S. free trade agreement at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade in central Seoul yesterday. The two sides failed to reach agreement but talks continue today. Kim said Korea was examining the automotive market provisions, but not those on beef, which he said is an issue beyond the FTA.
