Talks on reunions set for Thursday
This week’s Red Cross talks between the two Koreas will take place Thursday in Munsan, Paju, Gyeonggi, the Unification Ministry said. The talks will focus on the regularization of meetings to reunite those separated during the Korean War.North Korea has another agenda in mind as well. Pyongyang has been trying to discuss both reunions and the resumption of cross-border tourism at Mount Kumgang. But the South says they are separate issues.
Tours to the resort were halted after the shooting death of a South Korean tourist in 2008.
