NATIONAL THEATER WINTER FESTIVAL: SONG OF HOPEThursday and Friday: The National Theater is holding a free annual winter festival on December 30th and 31st called Song of Hope.
On the first day, the festival will feature a variety of outdoor activities such as kite flying and radio controlled car driving. The following day will be a New Year’s celebration with fireworks and free rice cake soup.
The festival is to be held at the Main Hall and the Cultural Plaza of the National Theater of Korea from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Dec. 30, and starting from 23:30 p.m. on Dec. 31.

18TH SEONGSAN SUNRISE FESTIVAL
Friday and Saturday: Launched in 1994, the Seongsan Sunrise Festival has been held on top of Jeju Island’s Seongsan IIchulbong or Sunrise Peak.
The festival attracts huge crowds of tourists every year.
