[Letters] Reading about the North opens Southern eyes
I would like to comment on the Apr. 8 column published in your newspaper. I wholeheartedly agree with Park Hyo-jong, especially after I read the book “Nothing to Envy” by Barbara Demick.This book was published last year and I feel it should be a must read for all South Korean students. It follows the lives of six North Korean’s and it would be a real eye-opener for South Koreans to read about all the suffering that goes on there.
