Yang with first win in Korea at 14-under
Golfer Yang Hee-young, better known as Amy Yang on the LPGA Tour, won the KB Financial Group Star Championship yesterday at Sky 72 Golf Club in Incheon, marking her first win in Korea.Yang, 22, shot even-par in the final round to finish the last major tournament of the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Tour at 14-under 274.
Yang edged the three other golfers by four strokes and collected the 140 million won ($127,000) winner’s prize.
