Taiwanese K-pop fans bleeding blue

Korean group CN Blue has reached the No. 1 spot on various music charts belonging to Taiwanese mobile companies.

According to the band’s agency FNC Music on Friday, “You’ve Fallen For Me” and “Because I Miss You” have become the most-downloaded tracks on music charts run by Chunghwa Telecom’s Emome, Taiwan Mobile and Far EasTone Mobile.

“It’s amazing since the album containing the two songs have not been officially released in Taiwan,” the band said in response to reaching the top slots. “We are so thankful to our fans for their support, and we’ll keep making great music to repay the love.”

The two tracks are from the soundtrack to the MBC drama “You’ve Fallen For Me,” which aired in August.

The four-member boy band made its debut last year with the album “Bluetory,” and this year its song “Intuition” was named the fourth-best track of the year by Gallup Korea. The leader of the band, Jung Yong-hwa, rose to fame as an individual entertainer in the hit drama “You’re Beautiful” in 2009.
