Girls’ Generation to appear on French talk show
After visiting the United States last week, K-pop’s leading girl group Girls’ Generation is set to appear on the most-popular talk show in France. SM Entertainment announced on Feb. 8 that the band will perform on the daily talk show “Le Grand Journal” on Feb. 10.The primetime show is the most-viewed program in France, and Hollywood superstars such as Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber and Jodie Foster have all made appearances on it.
“Girls’ Generation will be the first Korean group to appear on the show. They will be performing ‘The Boys’ live,” a representative from SM Entertainment said.
The girl group is also set to appear on France 2’s main news program, “Le Journal de 20 Heures,” on Feb. 9. On the show, the girls will introduce their new album, which was released in France on Feb. 7, and talk about their European fans and their plans for a world tour.
They will also appear in a live broadcast of KBS’ “Music Bank” from Paris.
