Fans pick their fantasy valentines
Actors Kim Soo-hyun and Lee Min-jung have been voted the celebrities to whom most people aged 20 to 30 would like to give chocolates on Valentine’s Day.Kim topped the list for male celebrities with 34 percent of the vote, while Lee came in first for female celebrities, with 44 percent.
After Kim, female respondents picked actors Song Joon-ki and Wonbin. Male respondents put IU in second place and Suzy from girl group Miss A in third.
Kim is currently the star of the hit drama “The Moon Embracing the Sun” on MBC. The program set a new record, just two weeks into its run, having secured ratings of 23.2 percent. Competing shows on other terrestrial networks in the same time slot only earned ratings of 9.4 percent and 6.4 percent. The show made its debut on Jan. 4 and is now the highest-rated weekday drama. It tells the story of a love triangle between three members of the royal family during the Joseon Dynasty.
Meanwhile, Lee is currently starring in the Korean movie “Wonderful Radio,” which opened in cinemas nationwide on Jan. 5.
