The main ceiling cross beam is installed during a ceremony at Sungnyemun, also known as Namdaemun, in Jung District, central Seoul, yesterday. The Cultural Heritage Administration said the gate, which was severely damaged by a fire in 2008, will be restored by the end of the year with a new fire protection system. By Oh Sang-min
