Kim Yu-na to perform in Olympic Park, Seoul

Korean figure skating icon Kim Yu-na will perform in front of local fans for the first time since last August, her agency said yesterday.

According to All That Sports, Kim will feature in the ice show E1 All That Skating Spring 2012, set to run from May 4 to 6. The show will be held at the Olympic Gymnastics Gymnasium in Olympic Park, southern Seoul.

The agency announced that the 22-year-old reigning Olympic champion will introduce her new program during the show.

Organizers are set to install a special ice rink at the gymnasium that can accommodate more than 10,000 people with state-of-the-art audio and video equipment.

“We are preparing for a fantastic ice show,” the agency said in a press release.

“This performance will be the best way for fans and skaters to connect through figure skating.”

Ticket prices and other participants have yet to be determined.
