테스트

Nasser Al-Mahasher

S-Oil, the fourth largest refiner in Korea, appointed Nasser Al-Mahasher its new representative director and chief executive officer last Friday, the refiner said yesterday.

Al-Mahasher, who worked for Saudi Aramco, the state-owned oil company of Saudi Arabia, for 22 years, has extensive experience in technology, operations, engineering, project management and marketing, the company said.

Having served as a global refining coordinator of Saudi Aramco, Al-Mahasher is recognized for his ability to precisely check and monitor the status of refining facilities, local demand and exports, as well as formulate strategic storage plans.

The incoming CEO led Saudi Petroleum in Tokyo for four years before coming to S-Oil, which allowed him to build a strong business network throughout East Asia. He is known to have an understanding and appreciation of Asian business culture, the company said.

“The new CEO responds flexibly and resiliently to changes in the business environment with a balanced perspective based on a broad understanding of cultural differences and has an excellent global business mindset.” said an S-Oil officer. “He has visited Korea several times,” he added.
