Boyfriend
Just days after it held a press conference on May 28 to launch its debut in Japan, Boyfriend has landed on the pages of various prominent Japanese press.
The Korean boy band must have impressed the 250 Japanese journalists as its pictures were all over the press in the days following its press event, which was held inside of a submarine.
There has been an increase in interest for the Korean band in Japan and many media outlets have credited the band for holding a showcase at the famed Budokan on June 30, an unprecedented feat for a newbie artist.
Referring to its premiere showcase “First Date with Boyfriend,” the band said, “It’s an honor to perform there, and we will give it all that we’ve got.”
Ahead of its official debut in Japan, a special album, entitled “We Are Boyfriend,” will be released on June 6.
