Uhm Tae-woong to marry ballerina

Actor Uhm Tae-woong made a surprise wedding announcement on an episode of “1 Night 2 Days” on Sunday.
The 38-year-old revealed the Jan. 9 wedding date and announced that his fiancee is an award-winning ballerina named Yoon Hye-jin, who is also a member of a renowned family of actors.
Yoon, who is five weeks pregnant, is the daughter of actor Yoon Il-bong and a niece of Yoo Dong-geun and Jun In-hwa.
Uhm’s fiancee’s brother is also an aspiring actor, following in the footsteps of his father, and has appeared in “Quick” (2011) and “Miracle on 1st Street” (2007).
Uhm and his sister, Uhm Jung-hwa, are also esteemed actors.
He said that the two fell in love at first sight. The two met through Uhm’s sister and were drawn to each other instantly.
“After two days of knowing her, I knew I wanted to marry her,” Uhm said on the popular variety show in which he appears.
