Melon Awards announces nominees
The nominees, as picked by the leading Korean music download Web site, are: 2NE1, Beast, Busker Busker, Big Bang, IU, Infinite, T-ara, Huh Gak and Psy.
Artists were picked on the criteria of song ratings (making up 80 percent) and online popularity votes (20 percent).
The Melon Music Awards will take place on Dec. 14 at Olympic Park, eastern Seoul.
