KT plans to call in retirees to educate youth on IT
KT said yesterday it would hire 1,000 retirees as IT service-related teachers over the next three years as part of its corporate social responsibility efforts. This year, as an initial step, the second-largest mobile carrier in Korea will pick and train 200 paid workers among retirees in their 50s and 60s to be dispatched to community centers to teach the importance of online copyrights to teenagers so they won’t illegally download content from the Web.
