Kumho Asiana-supported musicians play for presidents

Kumho Asiana Group said yesterday that musicians supported by its cultural foundation played during the dinner attended by President Park Geun-hye and President Barack Obama at the Smithsonian Institution on Tuesday, local time.

The conglomerate said pianist Son Yeol-eum and violinist Shin Zia performed for the presidents and Korea’s business delegation, which includes Kumho Asiana Chairman Park Sam-koo. The event was held to mark the 60th Anniversary of the U.S.-Republic of Korea alliance.

Since 1993, the Kumho Asiana Group’s foundation has operated a instrument leasing system for talented young musicians.
