f(x) set to release second albumGirl group f(x) will return to the entertainment scene with a new album in less than two weeks, the group’s agency, SM Entertainment, said yesterday.
The second regular album, “Pink Tape,” comes two years after the group released its first regular album, “Pinocchio,” in 2011 and a year since its second mini-album, “Electronic Shock,” was released in June 2012.
“As it is the second regular album, we try to include diverse music so that [fans] can feel the different charms and characteristics of each of the five members,” the agency said.
The agency also released a video that features all the members to raise expectations for the new album through its Web site, local online music providers and YouTube. The video, “Art Film,” features Krystal with flaming red hair and the other members as well. The video has a pink background to match the album title.
“The art film has been specially made to deliver the overall concept of the new album,” SM Entertainment said.
