SK Engineerin & Construction wins $417m Vietnam contract

SK Engineering & Construction, the construction arm of SK Group, said yesterday it won a $417 million order to build a jetty, seawall and seabed pipelines on the coast of Vietnam near Nghi Son Refinery.
According to the builder, project will involve 1.6 kilometers (one mile) of seawall, a jetty that can accommodate four large vessels and connecting two seabed pipelines that are 35 kilometers long.
The project will be conducted under an EPC (engineering, procurement, construction) system and include supporting test operation. It is expected to take 36 months to complete.
