Beast member defends his height
Lee Gi-kwang, member of boy group Beast, says that he is still growing taller during MBC Everyone’s entertainment program “Weekly Idol” yesterday.
Comedian Jung Hyung-don, who is an MC on the show, warmly welcomed Lee because the two haven’t seen each other for about a year. He delivered a congratulatory message to Lee by saying that Lee has grown by 0.7 centimeters.
However, Jung tried to tease him by asking if Lee is now over 170 centimeters (5 foot 5 inches) , saying that people can still grow after turning 20.
Lee was trying to defend himself by saying he was already more than 170 centimeters tall, and he now thinks he is more than 171 centimeters.
Other members of Beast also came to the show and showed off their recently built muscles.
